WWE Money In The Bank is still coming to New Orleans in 2026, but it’s just a bit later.
On Wednesday, WWE announced its annual Money In The Bank event will take place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The date is notable because the event is one week later than the one originally announced.
In May, Triple H announced the event would take place on August 29, 2026. That announcement came the day after WWE revealed WrestleMania 42 would no longer be in New Orleans. WrestleMania 42 will now take place in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19, 2026. Despite losing WrestleMania to Las Vegas, Triple H said that WWE would still host a WrestleMania in New Orleans, but wouldn’t announce anything until a later date.
Money In The Bank 2026 marks a first for the event
The news about the Money In The Bank date was, and still is, surprising, as this will mark the first time that Money In The Bank takes place after SummerSlam. MITB typically takes place in June or July, but WWE also hosted it in May in 2019 and 2020.
WWE will announce additional ticket details and event information “in the coming months.” To register to be the first to hear about pre-sale opportunities for Money In The Bank, please visit: https://www.wwe.com/mitb-2026.
Official Money In The Bank Priority Passes will also be available through On Location. To learn more about Money In The Bank Priority Passes or to place a deposit, visit On Location.
