CM Punk claims to be the best in the world, but he doesn’t consider himself to be one of the best wrestlers in WWE.
On a recent episode of WWE Vlog, CM Punk documented his recent tour of Australia and Japan. During the video, Punk made it abundantly clear that he believes IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley are the two best wrestlers in WWE right now.
“IYO SKY is consistently, I think, the best wrestler that we have,” CM Punk said. “Rhea is probably a close second, but you talk about a superstar. And I don’t think it’s a secret that I was one of Rhea’s favorites when she was a kid growing up, and it’s kind of no different than the fan that says I’m sober because of you, or I waited 19 years to see you. Like, I just want to give back because I’m so full of gratitude. Those two are the future.”
CM Punk will face Jey Uso for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship
Next weekend on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, CM Punk will go one-on-one with Jey Uso to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion. The title was vacated earlier this month due to an injury that Seth Rollins suffered in his match at Crown Jewel against Cody Rhodes.
