Chris Jericho has turned some heads by showing off his new ripped physique amid WWE return rumors.
Chris Jericho turned 55 on November 9, and he announced it in style by posting a picture on X/Twitter that shows him flaunting his new shredded physique. Jericho hasn’t looked this fit in years, and the photo has added more fuel to the speculations surrounding his potential WWE return.
The inaugural AEW World Champion last appeared on AEW television in April 2025. Despite all the rumors about a WWE return, Chris Jericho is still signed to AEW through the end of the year, and Tony Khan also said that the door is always open for Jericho to return to the company.
However, Chris Jericho abandoning a recent trademark and his occasional teases on social media keep the speculations alive.
Matt Hardy Says The Time Is Right For Chris Jericho To Return To WWE
Speaking on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, reigning TNA World Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy had high praise for Chris Jericho. He claimed that Jericho has done everything there is to do in AEW and that the time is right for him to return to WWE.
“I mean, first off, I’ll start by saying I love Chris Jericho. I think Chris has contributed so so much to the business over the years. I almost think it’s one of those things where I just think the AEW fan base has had their share of Chris Jericho in many, many ways. And I think creatively, he’s done pretty much everything he can do there.
“Chris has always been really good at understanding when it’s time to go away or take time off and come back and recharge or refresh. I feel like if he came back to WWE, it’d be a huge moment, especially in a Royal Rumble, whatever, wherever that appearance would be, it would be massive. And then I feel like there would be a good a good run he could do, even if it is his last run and he retires at the end of it, like Cena did.” [H/T: wrestlingnews.co]
