Stephanie McMahon has revealed the most horrifying thing WWE fans have chanted at her.
Speaking to Paul Heyman on her What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon podcast, the former WWE Chairwoman discussed the perks of being a heel. During the conversation, she revealed the most horrifying thing fans have chanted at her.
“The things they say sometimes! I mean, it’s really funny.” When asked what her favorite fan chant was, Stephanie McMahon replied, “My most horrifying was ‘She’s got side meat.’ I hate that one! ‘Steph’s got side meat!’ It was so mean, and I was wearing something that showed that part of my body.
“Chicago, it’s ‘She’s a crackwh**e; most everywhere else it was sl*t. And that was a very long time ago. I’m sure our viewers have no idea currently that time period ever happened, but yeah, it did.
“They chanted sl*t right off the bat,” Stephanie McMahon continued, “as soon as I turned heel, and it was so great. I was like, ‘What are they chanting?’ Because it was at Armageddon, which was December of ’99, and probably the only date and time I could ever actually quote of anything that happened, and it was the night that I did the heel turn and got with Paul (Levesque), in storyline and not in reality, and like the next day, I think, where were we? We were in Florida, and they came with the sl*t chant, and it was the greatest thing I have ever heard.
“Because nobody else got chanted at that way. Like sl*t? I was like, ‘What are they saying? Sl*t?’ It’s like, that’s fantastic, arenas of people, thousands of people chanting sl*t at me. It’s the best. That’s the greatest. I mean, who can say that? Not many people.”
