CM Punk is letting everyone in on the secret about what really goes on during night patrol.
Shudder dropped the new trailer for Night Patrol. The movie is about a local street gang going to battle with a group of police officers that are also a deadly group of vampires.
“An LAPD officer must put aside his differences with the area’s street gangs when he discovers a local police task force is harboring a horrific secret that endangers the residents of the housing projects he grew up in,” reads the official synopsis.
Punk can be seen starting at the 0:15 mark of the trailer, telling a suspect to turn around and face the other way while a voiceover by Justin Long mentions “a few bad apples” on the police force. It is then implied that Punk’s character shoots the suspect in the head and kills them. Punk’s character later inducts Long’s character into the titular Night Patrol, turning him into a vampire.
Night Patrol will hit theatres on January 16, 2026.
Before Night Patrol lands in theatres, CM Punk can be heard in Zootopia 2, which opens on November 26. Punk provided the voice of Zebro Zebrowski in the Disney animated film, while Reigns portrays Zebro Zebraxton.
