The Kabuki Warriors are back on top of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Division, but one WWE Hall of Famer doesn’t seem to be a fan of the duo.
Last week on RAW, Asuka and Kairi Sane defeated Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to become WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions for the third time. While this title change was positively received by a majority of fans, one WWE Hall of Famer doesn’t understand the newly crowned champions.
On the latest episode of Kliq This: The Kevin Nash Podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer spoke on the recent title change and explained why he’s not currently feeling Asuka and Kairi Sane.
“I have a hard time with a lot…..I’m just not feeling the f*cking Kabuki Warriors,” Kevin Nash admitted. “I don’t know. I’m not privy to their numbers, but they must do some numbers in Japan, where they’ve got to have some… When India became an emerging marketplace for the WWE? That’s when Jinder [Mahal], he was a champion for quite a while. Then they brought him back for a minute. He kind of got over. They just f*cking shit canned him.” [H/T: WrestlingNews.co]
The Kabuki Warriors are preparing for WarGames
While Kevin Nash might not be feeling the Kabuki Warriors, the newly crowned Women’s Tag Team Champions have more pressing matters to worry about at the moment.
Asuka and Kairi Sane will be involved in the Women’s WarGames match later this month. They will be teaming with Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and one more member to be named against Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, and two more members to be named.
While she declined to be part of the team Friday night on SmackDown, many believe Charlotte Flair will eventually agree to be on Ripley’s WarGames team before we get to Survivor Series. But we’ll find out soon enough.
