Becky Lynch has dropped the first look at her character in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
Taking to social media, the former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion hyped up her role in the upcoming television series. Lynch also took the opportunity to take a hilarious jab at Collider for referring to her as “one of WWE’s biggest stars.”
“Everyone’s FAVORITE wrestler turned actor will be starring in one of the most ICONIC franchises in TV history. Star Trek: Starfleet Academy premieres in January on Paramount+. According to Collider, Lynch (real name Rebecca Quin) plays a Starfleet officer in the 2026 spin-off.
“She’s in Operations Gold as part of the bridge crew, sporting a bob with blue streaks in her hair, and nothing right away indicates she’s anything other than human,” the report stated.
Becky Lynch has several TV credits to her name, including the 2022 series Young Rock, where she portrayed Cyndi Lauper.
