Fans have eagerly been anticipating another season of WWE: Unreal. Netflix has confirmed when the series will return and which WWE Superstars will be featured on season two.
According to the streaming giant, WWE: Unreal Season 2 will release on Netflix on January 20, 2026. In addition, Netflix shared that this season will include Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Pat McAfee, Jelly Roll, R-Truth, IYO SKY, Naomi, Chelsea Green, Penta and Lyra Valkyria.
Netflix shared a photo of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch on the SummerSlam stage as part of the announcement, making it likely that Rollins’ storyline knee injury will be featured. Rollins faked a serious knee injury earlier in the year. However, he returned at SummerSlam to successfully cash in his Money in the Bank contract on CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship. The move was a big surprise for fans and earned the name “Swerve of the Century.”
Season one of WWE: Unreal featured five episodes and it premiered on July 29, 2025. The first season featured appearances from notable names such as CM Punk, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Charlotte Flair and The Rock.
Seth Rollins is out with a legitimate injury
Seth Rollins is currently sidelined with a legitimate shoulder injury. He appeared on the Rich Eisen Show and said he was still on track for his return.
“I got the brace off last week, middle of last week, so it’s nice. It’s nice to walk around like a regular person. I know there’s a lot of skepticism in your question, TJ [Jefferson, Eisen’s co-host], but you can consult my surgeon,” Rollins joked. “I’m just saying, there was a lot of condescension in your voice. I’m feeling alright, I’m feeling alright. It’s nice to get around without the brace, I’ll say that. But yeah, we’re on track.”
Rollins said he still feels bad about lying to everyone about his fake foot injury, noting that it’s led to speculation that his shoulder injury is fake.
