Andrade El Idolo Reveals WWE Is Allowing Him To Return To The Ring

Andrade El Idolo has revealed that positive steps have been taken with WWE to allow him to return to the ring.

Former WWE Superstar Andrade El Idolo recently spoke with Inside The Ropes, where he revealed that the company has given him approval to compete tonight for WWC in Puerto Rico.

“Yeah, I’m so happy to be in Puerto Rico,” Andrade El Idolo said. “I want to say thank you to my lawyer. My lawyer now has a letter from WWE, because we had a few problems because of the non-compete for 12 months.

“So today, my lawyer told me, ‘Andrade, I have a letter, signed, that you can participate, tonight, in Puerto Rico, in the company WWC.’ So now the letter says I can come back to the ring, tonight, on this last show – last show of the year. I have the opportunity for the title, so I am so happy. After all these problems, I don’t know what to say. I want to be ready for tonight.”

Andrade is excited to return to the ring tonight

When asked if not being able to wrestle regularly has been annoying for him, Andrade said it’s been difficult but he’s happy to have the opportunity to return to the ring tonight.

“It is difficult, but I am happy,” Andrade El Idolo said. “I want to get back in the ring. It is my first opportunity. I have this opportunity for the title. I’ll take it. I deserve this opportunity. I have been at home for 3-4 months, and I can show the people who Andrade is, how my body has changed. I want to show my talent, everything.

“But for three months, for legal problems, the non-compete problem, so I couldn’t do anything in the ring. I am just happy to be back. I am happy because I love Puerto Rico, I love the company. WWC is so important. In the past, many wrestlers went to Puerto Rico, Ric Flair, Undertaker, Kane, and many, many wrestlers. I have this opportunity to go back to Puerto Rico for the last show of the year. I am so excited. I just want to win the title and celebrate.”

It’s unknown if the agreement with WWE will allow him to work beyond WWC, but we’ll find out soon enough.
