Athena, Mercedes Moné, and The MegaProblems (Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne) faced Babes of Wrath (Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale) and the Timeless Love Bombs (Mina Shirakawa and Toni Storm) this past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite: Holiday Bash.
During the match, a fan recorded Moné giving Bayne a massage while the action continued between Storm and Shafir inside the ring. Footage of the moment quickly made its way to social media, prompting a hilarious response from The CEO herself.
“I can do soft or deep tissue massage,” she wrote.
Mercedes Moné set for action at AEW Worlds End
The finish of the eight-woman tag team match saw Athena hit Willow Nightingale with the O-Face before Mercedes Moné scored the pinfall victory for her team.
After the match, Athena and Moné challenged Babes of Wrath to an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship match at Worlds End. The bout has since been added to the updated lineup for the December 27 pay-per-view event.
