Chris Jericho is returning to the airwaves just in time for the holidays.
Jericho has been absent from the pro wrestling world for almost a year, and fans continue to wonder what his next move will be. Jericho has not appeared in AEW since April 2025. During that time, there has been heavy speculation that he is headed back to WWE.
The nine-time world champion continues to keep people guessing about his next move in the ring, but he has stayed busy outside of the squared circle. Jericho has another cruise in the works and he performed concerts with his band, FOZZY, and his KISS cover band, Kuarantine.
Chris Jericho recently announced another return in the form of his podcast called “Winnipeggers.” Jericho, a native of Winnipeg, hosted the series with Dave Spivak and Rybo for 100 episodes before going on hiatus. They revived the show for a Christmas-themed special in 2024, and they’ve decided to do so once again.
“WE’RE PUTTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER!! Come join us on Dec 27 at 9pm EST for the (possible) triumphant return of #TheWinnipeggers! We have no script, no ideas and no clue what we are gonna do….so it’s pretty much par for the course,” Jericho wrote. “We will be eating Christmas dinner, so there’s that. But no matter what, you know it’s gonna be ridiculous, so come hang with us on Dec 27, 9pm EST….only on my @youtube channel! #Speewee #Irvass #Rybo”
Jericho grew up in Winnipeg and had the street where his childhood home was renamed in his honor. A local restaurant, D-Jay’s, also named a pizza in his honor.
