There is a new update on Raquel Rodriguez following her injury scare on WWE RAW earlier this week.
The Judgment Day star challenged Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship on the December 15 episode of WWE RAW on Netflix. The match was cut short due to Nikki Bella’s interference, as she attacked both the champion and the challenger.
Raquel Rodriguez, in particular, took a nasty bump when she landed head-first on the ringside steel steps. She appeared visibly shaken after the assault and was reportedly placed in concussion protocol following Nikki Bella’s run-in.
Update on Raquel Rodriguez after scary WWE RAW spot
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (via f4wonline.com), Dave Meltzer provided an update on Raquel Rodriguez’s status following the scary bump she took on RAW this past Monday.
“Raquel Rodriguez was being checked out after Nikki Bella threw her head into the steps on Raw, but she’s been cleared,” Meltzer wrote.
It is also worth noting that Raquel called out Nikki Bella for the attack in a backstage promo after the match. Big Mami Cool made it clear that she intends to go after both Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella following the events involving the three women on WWE RAW on Netflix.
