TNA Star Worried About Losing Everything Due To Injury

This TNA star thought he was going to lose everything due to injury.

TNA Wrestling’s KC Navarro has been sidelined with a torn ACL he suffered over the summer. In his most recent appearance on TNA iMPACT, Navarro revealed that he had re-aggravated the injury and would require surgery.

AJ Francis later reintroduced Rich Swann to FIR$T CLA$$ before both men kicked the crutches out of Navarro’s hands, causing him to fall and effectively writing him off television. Navarro underwent successful surgery in mid-August and has been rehabbing ever since.

The former FIR$T CLA$$ member made a cameo appearance on a brand new episode of TNA’s Immersed series, which profiled Mike Santana. While discussing his relationship with Santana, Navarro said Mike has had his back since day one.

“Mike Santana has always been the guy who had my back, going all the way back to the indies when nobody knew me or cared about me until I came to TNA. He was the first person to support me and tell me, ‘I’ve got you, and I’m going to help you get to the top.’

“Mike Santana is literally like an older brother to me, and during this injury, he’s been there every step of the way. I owe a lot to him.”

KC Navarro reflects on his headspace amid TNA absence

“There’s a video that a lot of people haven’t seen of me and Mike Santana that was filmed at Slammiversary. In it, he’s telling me that I need to get my knee right, focus on my knee, focus on my heart, and focus on my mind. I needed that talk that night because I didn’t think I was going to come back the same. I thought I was going to lose everything.

“Even in his biggest defeat at Slammiversary, he was worried about me and making sure I was going to be okay. Tonight, I plan on being in Gorilla, right there when Mike Santana wins the TNA World Title, because I believe he’s going to win it. I’m going to give him the biggest hug and the biggest thank you.

“Mike Santana is the reason I’m pushing this hard, and in my opinion, he’s the reason why I’m just three months post-surgery and already walking and moving like I could come back tomorrow. I appreciate Mike Santana.”
