Former TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich is set to make her first independent wrestling appearance since the domestic abuse controversy.
Slamovich previously came under scrutiny following domestic abuse allegations after screenshots of private conversations between her and former boyfriend AKIRA surfaced online. AKIRA later released a lengthy statement addressing what he described as an abusive relationship with Slamovich.
In the aftermath, Slamovich was pulled from multiple independent bookings, while TNA removed the Victory Road advertisement featuring her and subsequently scrubbed all mentions of her from the company’s platforms. She last appeared for TNA at a taping in September, where she competed in a six-woman tag team match, losing to The Elegance Brand.
While TNA Wrestling did not publicly release the results of its internal investigation, the company confirmed it parted ways with Slamovich after her contract expired in October. Her most recent independent appearance took place at the Pro Wrestling Österreich event on September 20.
