Masha Slamovich Appearance Cancelled After Criticism Over Domestic Abuse Allegations

Masha Slamovich isn’t coming to the Squared Circle Expo afterall.

On Wednesday, Squared Circle Expo announced Slamovich was being brought in as a guest for its next event in March. The announcement also came with a disclaimer that alluded to domestic abuse allegations against Slamovich by a former partner.

Masha Slamovich lost multiple independent bookings and ultimately lost her job with TNA. The latter conducted an internal investigation into the allegations. Despite the results not being made public, TNA parted ways with Slamovich after her contract expired in October 2025.

Now, Slamovich’s past has cost her another booking.

Just hours after the initial announcement, Squared Circle Expo has announced Masha Slamovich will no longer appear at the event. The promoter said they took careful consideration of fan feedback, and learned more about the allegations against Masha. This ultimately led to them pulling her from the lineup.

“After a ton of deliberation, it was decided that we would give Masha a chance to appear,” the statement read. “It was not taken lightly or without hefty consideration. I know we say all the time that we’re just a couple of dudes that love professional wrestling and want to share it with as many people as possible! That said, this situation has taught us that we’re also just a couple of dudes who are capable of getting it wrong. And boy, did we ever.

“After speaking to friends in the industry who know a bit more about the details of Masha’s situation, as well as carefully considering the feedback from fans and others in our business whose opinion we value, we have decided to pull Masha Slamovich’s appearance from the SCX VI. The vendor who was bringing her in for the appearance is also in agreement and fully supports the move as well.”

Squared Circle Expo says that they still believe people deserve second chances and a shot at redemption. However, the “timing for this was ill thought out and regrettable.” The promoter closed by apologizing to their supporters for making the wrong call. They also hope Masha continues to work on bettering herself.

Squared Circle Expo VI takes place on March 27-28, 2026, at the Wyndham Indianapolis West. Paul “Big Show” Wight, Saraya, Mick Foley, Swoggle, Brian Myers, Dennis Rodman, Kevin Nash, Great Muta, Masahiro Chono, DDP, Carlito, Lita and Trish Stratus are also scheduled to appear at the event.
