Roman Reigns Praised As ‘True Hero’ For Delivering Pizza To Sick Kids In The Hospital

Roman Reigns might be on the nice list this year.

As the old adage goes, it’s better to give than receive, especially during the Christmas season. In the case of former Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns, he’s giving back to a local hospital.

On Instagram, the owners of Mimi’s Ravioli, located in Hollywood, Florida, revealed that Reigns (real name Joe Anoaʻi) had stopped into their Italian food shop to pick up a pizza to then be delivered to sick children in the hospital just days before the December 25 holiday.

“I don’t know if you know this guy story but he is a true hero,” the caption read. “It’s two days before Christmas and all the money in the world and this guy is picking up pizza to deliver to the sick kids at the hospital on his own time. They don’t make them like this guy. This guy is what you call a true life hero. I’m glad we can call Joe our friend thank you for stopping by saying hello and bring the kids Pizza. It’s an honor to have you walk through my doors buddy. Keep doing what you’re doing and keep paying it forward.

“God created people like you to make this a better place thank you guys from my family to everyone. I kept the line for 10 straight hours today and Mimi‘s. We won’t stop until every order is done thank you. We are blessed from my family, my friends and my workers, we thank you all.”

WWE fans last saw Reigns at Survivor Series in San Diego as he, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso lost the Men’s WarGames match. Following the lost, Reigns asserted that it’d be the last time he and Rhodes teamed together. As of now, there is official no word on when he will return to WWE programming, though he is advertised for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble.
