Our WWE NXT results for tonight include Joe Hendry’s New Year’s Eve Eve Concert, Ethan Page defending the North American Championship against TNA’s Moose, Jacy Jayne clashing with Wren Sinclair, and Je’Von Evans seeking vengeance against Ricky Saints. Here’s our review and grades for tonight’s show, live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

WWE NXT Results:
North American Championship Match: Ethan Page (c) vs. Moose
Page attacks Moose before the bell rings. Moose cuts Page in half with a Spear. Page rolls out. Moose gets sent into the apron, injuring his shoulder. Page works over Moose’s injured limb. Moose fires up and lands a flurry. The fight spills out of the ring. Moose Spears Page through the barricade. Moose lands another Spear, but Page’s foot is on the bottom rope. Moose takes a back body drop on the ring steps. Page lands Twisted Grin for the win.
Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page!
Grade: B-
Page is a miracle worker. This was one of the best Moose matches this writer has ever seen. Moose hate aside, having him win this would have been interesting and wouldn’t have cost Page a thing.
The Winner of NXT Male Superstar of the Year: Je’Von Evans
Backstage, someone lays out Evolve Women’s Champion Kendall Grey
Dame
Izzi Dame cuts a promo about how Tatum Paxley is pathetic. The NXT crowd boos her out of the building. Paxley interrupts and reads Dame the riot act about Dame being the weak one. After some bickering, Dame tries a cheapshot, Paxley ducks and hits her finish, leaving Dame looking at the lights.
Grade: C
Did these two need a talking segment to get to the match? NOPE. No, they did not.
The Winner of NXT Tag Team of the Year: Sol Ruca and Zaria
Jacy Jayne w/Fatal Influence vs. Wren Sinclair
Jayne works over Sinclair. Sinclair fires up and goes after Jayne’s arm. Sinclair lands a nasty amr breaker. After a distraction from her cronies, Jayne takes control. Jayne eventually lands the Rolling Encore for the win.
Winner- Jacy Jayne
After the match, Jayne and Co. beat down Sinclair. Grey makes the save.
Grade: B-
Solid, quick TV match. Not sure pushing the Evovle Champ like this this soon makes sense with so many other viable candidates that have been in NXT for so much longer than her. If Grey pulls this off, it’s almost an indictment of every other challenger Jayne has faced to this point.
A New Year’s Eve Eve Concert
Joe Hendry sings a song about all the cool things that have happened in NXT in 2025. Hendry mentions DarkState, which leads to them hitting the ring and attacking Hendry. Tony D’Angelo is shown watching from afar.
Grade: C+
Fun song. Silly beatdown. The DarkState stuff just doesn’t work. At this point, we need to know more about their motivations, or one of these beatdowns needs to be one that puts out someone the crowd cares about for an extended period of time. Give us a reason to care.
WWE Speed Men’s Championship #1 Contender Tournament Finals Match: Tavion Heights vs. Lexis King
As soon as the bell rings, Heights hits a belly-to-belly for the win.
Winner- Tavion Heights
Grade: C
lol Oh, Speed matches. You never fail to disappoint. Happy for Heights, but Speed matches are just silly.
NXT Match of the Year: Oba Femi vs. Trick Williams vs. Je’Von Evans at Stand and Deliver
OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) vs. Swipe Right (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes)
Nima and Price dominate this match and eventually get the win after their finish.
Winners- OTM
Grade: C+
Good squash match. OTM reenacted the Michael Jordan meme here tonight F dem kids.
The Winner of NXT Female Superstar of the Year: Sol Ruca
Je’Von Evans vs. Ricky Saints
Evans attacks Saints as soon as the bell rings. Evans fights out of a suplex and sticks Saints with a basement superkick. Saints dropkicks Evans’ knee to stop his momentum. Saints works over Evans’ leg. Evans fires up and lands a sky-high dive. After the break, Evans tries the OG Cutter. Saints pushes the referee in the way. Evans cuts the referee. Saints kicks Evans below the belt and hits the Roshambo for the win.
Winner- Ricky Saints
Grade: B
Great match. Evans turned up the intensity since this is a blood feud. None of that signature pluck from Evans. Saints mean streak won out, but this is probably not the end of this feud.
