Woo woo woo, you know it! Matt Cardona is Alwayz Ready and has finally made his return to WWE.
Last week on WWE SmackDown, Kit Wilson went to General Manager Nick Aldis looking for a match. Aldis promised he’d have a match on the next show against a surprise opponent.
Kit Wilson made his way to the ring, awaiting his opponent, and got someone that no one saw coming.
His opponent would be revealed to be none other than Matt Cardona, who is making his full-time return to WWE. While initially teased as a Zack Ryder appearance, the entrance music shifted, and Ryder was instead announced as Cardona.
During the match, it was confirmed on commentary that Nick Aldis has signed Cardona to the SmackDown roster. Which means his days as The Indy God are effectively done.
The finish of the match saw Cardona hit Wilson with Radio Silence (Rough Ryder) to score the pinfall victory.
