Matt Cardona made his full-time return to WWE last night on SmackDown, and even John Cena is talking about it.
The WWE Universe got a shocking moment last night on SmackDown when Matt Cardona returned to the company as Kit Wilson’s mystery opponent. It was revealed during the course of the match that Cardona had signed with the company and was the latest member of the SmackDown roster. Cardona capped the night off with a return victory and new merchandise already on WWEShop.
Several wrestlers have since congratulated Cardona on his WWE return, but perhaps none greater than the “Never Seen 17.”
John Cena took to social media this morning to respond to Matt Cardona’s WWE return, tweeting out:
“Persistence and preparation tend to help manufacture luck. I couldn’t be more proud of both @TheMattCardona and @ImChelseaGreen. They stand as a tremendous example of making luck through effort. Welcome home Matt *coffee emoji* *martini emoji,*” John Cena said in a post.
