Netflix has dropped the first official trailer for WWE: Unreal Season 2.
Ahead of its release on January 20, Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for the second season of the docuseries WWE: Unreal, featuring some of the company’s top stars. The show gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at World Wrestling Entertainment, revealing how storylines, matches, and major events are planned and executed.
“Wild plot twists. Larger-than-life personas. And a whole lot of drama. Go behind the scenes with the biggest Superstars and back into the writer’s room on the road to SummerSlam for Season 2 of WWE: Unreal.”
The trailer opens with Paul Heyman explaining why he isn’t a fan of the show. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H then talks about the road to SummerSlam 2025, including making people believe Seth Rollins was legitimately injured. Rollins and Becky Lynch then speak about selling the fake injury to their friends and family.
The trailer then moves on to R-Truth’s release from WWE in June 2025 and his subsequent return. Former Women’s World Champion Naomi then seemingly talked about her and Mercedes Moné’s walkout from WWE following WrestleMania 38.
From there, it moves on to the stories involving John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Jelly Roll, Chelsea Green, IYO SKY, and Penta. The trailer ends with Seth Rollins talking about his ruse of the century, saying, “It was a beautiful thing. It’s a great thing to see.”
Netflix confirmed the details about the stars featured in the second season of the hit series last month. With five 50-minute episodes, WWE: Unreal Season 2 premieres on January 20 on the streaming giant, featuring stars like Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Pat McAfee, Jelly Roll, R-Truth, Iyo Sky, Naomi, Chelsea Green, Penta, and Lyra Valkyria. If the trailer is any indication, the show appears to be a must-see.
