The paths of John Cena and comedian/actor Eric Andre have officially crossed in a new comedy movie, set to debut on Netflix later this year.
On Wednesday, Netflix gave fans a first glimpse of the film, titled Little Brother, with a photo of Cena and Andre sitting beside one another. Ditching his signature jorts, Cena is seen wearing a black polo shirt and a full-length pair of jeans. Meanwhile, Andre sports a colorful sweater paired with leopard print shorts.
“I have wanted to work opposite Eric for a very long time and this photo is many, many years in the making,” Cena wrote on X. “Cannot wait for you all to stream and enjoy the work of this incredible cast on @netflix!”
The official description of Little Brother, courtesy of IMDB, is as follows:
“A famous real estate agent’s life is disrupted when his eccentric little brother unexpectedly reappears.”
In it, Cena portrays the real estate agent, while Andre plays the part of the little brother. Starring alongside them will be Michelle Monaghan, Christopher Meloni, Ego Nwodim, Sherry Cola, Caleb Hearon, and Ben Ahlers.
Andre is no stranger to the professional wrestling world, having previously attended multiple WWE events. This week, he also appeared in a new ad for WWE WrestleMania 42, in which various celebrities pitched match ideas to WWE CCO Triple H. Cena himself is now retired from in-ring competition after completing his final match last month.
