A new update has emerged regarding the WWE Royal Rumble setup in Saudi Arabia.
The road to WrestleMania officially kicks off on January 31, when the Royal Rumble takes place at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia. According to the latest update, courtesy of @iNaawafy, construction of the Royal Rumble arena is currently in full swing. The X account also teased a major surprise in store for WWE’s annual January event.
“A new day and a new update for the #RoyalRumble hall, showcasing the speed of accomplishment in the hall’s construction work, and also the appearance of something new and unknown—what it is remains a mystery so far,” the account posted.
Multiple absent stars expected at WWE Royal Rumble
WWE is also expecting a lot of absent talent back in the fold in time for their Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia later this month.
On a recent episode of Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, it was revealed that WWE expects the following names in Saudi Arabia later this month for the event:
- Randy Orton
- Brock Lesnar
- LA Knight
- Chad Gable
- Tiffany Stratton
- Jacob Fatu
- Dominik Mysterio
Some of these talents have been sidelined with injury, while others were just given some time off when their respective storylines concluded last year.
