Dana White Reveals New Name Of UFC Apex

Dana White revealed the UFC Apex’s new name for the next five years.

On Wednesday, UFC CEO Dana White announced that the UFC Apex will now be known as the Meta APEX. According to White, the naming rights agreement is for the next five years.

“As we go into the new year, the home of Contender Series, the home of some Fight Nights, the home of Zuffa Boxing, UFC BJJ will now be called the Meta APEX,” White revealed on social media. “We’ve done a five-year deal with Meta, so welcome to the new Meta APEX.”

The APEX opened in 2019 and has become a regular home for UFC events since the COVID-19 pandemic. UFC continued to host events at the venue after restrictions were lifted, adding UFC BJJ and Zuffa Bozing events.

WWE NXT has also hosted an event at the UFC Apex as part of the WWE/UFC partnership under TKO. NXT made its debut at the venue with the Battleground Premium Live Event on June 9, 2024. That event featured Trick Williams retaining the NXT Championship against Ethan Page. Rapper Sexyy Red also hosted the PLE.

Zuffa Boxing will host its first event at the Meta APEX on January 23 before returning on January 30 and February 14. The UFC will also host UFC Vegas 113 (aka UFC Fight Night 266) at the venue on February 7.
