Bayley has shared a powerful backstage story of how Rhea Ripley helped lift up a fellow WWE star during a difficult moment.
Speaking on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, Bayley praised the current WWE locker room, calling it one of the strongest environments she’s ever been part of.
“I’ve been on Raw and SmackDown for about eight years now,” Bayley said. “The locker room is insane. We never let each other down.”
She explained how, by sharing a moment involving Rhea Ripley backstage.
“I saw Rhea do it when one of the girls was just bummed about what was going on and wasn’t happy with her performance. Normally, it’s me like, ‘Snap out of it. You were great.'”
Rhea Ripley is making Bayley a proud aunty
Bayley noted the significance of the moment, especially given Rhea Ripley’s status, noting that she’s still a younger wrestler at 29, despite having a WWE tenure that began in 2017.
“But Rhea grabbed her and Rhea’s super young. She’s like 10 years younger than me but you don’t think about that. She’s the biggest star. She grabbed her and said, ‘Hey, you’re great. Don’t even worry about it. You’re going to come out of this. You have years and years left to make up for this.’ Even if you think it was this or that, she gave her the best talk ever, and I was just sitting back there like a proud aunty.”
