NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi retired from in-ring competition earlier this month and has quickly undergone a shocking transformation.
At Wrestle Kingdom 20, Hiroshi Tanahashi entered the squared circle for the last time as an in-ring competitor. Losing his final match to arguably his greatest rival, All Elite Wrestling’s Kazuchika Okada, inside a completely sold-out Tokyo Dome.
Tanahashi will now focus on his day-to-day responsibilities as the President of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. In doing so, Tanahashi felt it was time to drastically change his look as well.
The Ace took to social media earlier this morning to show off his new look, the golden hair replaced with a jet black color, alongside a shockingly short haircut, tweeting out:
“Hair got shorter *thumbs up emoji* #HairCuttingCeremony,” Hiroshi Tanahashi said in a post.
