Cody Rhodes is a man of the people… even people who do impressions of The Rock at meet and greets.
The Rock has been one of Cody Rhodes’ biggest rivals over the past several years. The “Final Boss” antagonized Rhodes on the Road to WrestleMania 40, the same event where they met on night one in tag team action.
A pro wrestling fan named Dalehjun posted a video of himself meeting Cody and Brandi Rhodes at the latter’s Naked Mind yoga studio in Atlanta. Dalehjun was dressed in a Rock costume and did an in-character “interview” as The Great One.
“Finally, the legend has come back to ATL,” Dalehjun said.
“He’s in ATL, y’all,” Cody quipped.
“And I’m live with the man himself,” Dalehjun replied.
“Yeah, he’s coming over here right now,” Cody added.
Cody and Brandi were both good sports about the whole thing, but it’s pretty funny to see how far the fan went to keep the gimmick going. Taking things a step further, Dalehjun presented Cody with a framed photo and event-used mat piece from WrestleMania 39, where Roman Reigns retained the title over Rhodes.
A $100 bill also fell out of the wrapping paper, which Dalehjun assured Brandi and Cody was real.
Dalehjun then asked Cody to give him his soul, noting they could do it in Vegas or on the spot. He then pointed to his referee on stand-by.
Cody capped the moment off by calling Dalehjun his “number one crybaby” before calling Brandi in to take a photo together.
