Cody Rhodes explains why he’d pick a fight with a group of raccoons.
Former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently appeared on Grave Conversations with David Dastmalchian to promote the upcoming live-action Street Fighter film.
When asked whether he’d fight one emotionally unstable swan or five very calm raccoons, The American Nightmare gave a surprisingly detailed answer.
“I think the answer is always going to be, you want to fight the very calm… the raccoons. You’re outnumbered. Raccoons are more intelligent than people think. They also have a way about them that garners sympathy because they look a certain way,” Cody Rhodes said.
He then referenced Marvel’s Rocket Raccoon to explain why he chose the raccoons in the first place.
“Also, we have Rocket, who everyone thinks the trash pandas are, you know, friendly when they’re… they’re, you know, I don’t want to use the word, they’re vermin. They’re digging through your trash, you know, they’re not pet-friendly per se. But anything that’s emotionally unstable… some people gravitate towards emotionally unstable, and you’re saying the swan is unstable.”
Cody Rhodes is set to bring Guile to life in the latest Street Fighter movie. The film also stars fellow WWE Superstar Roman Reigns as Akuma, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Mel Jarnson as Cammy, 50 Cent as Balrog, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Noah Centineo as Ken, Andrew Koji as Ryu, and David Dastmalchian as M. Bison.
Street Fighter hits theaters on October 16.
