Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean has finally responded to the dating rumors linking him with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
The rumors between the WWE and the NFL star have been growing for months. It recently took off after Bella joked about it during WWE RAW in Philadelphia. When fans seemingly started chanting “Coop,” she laughed and said, “Can you blame a girl for having good taste? I mean, Pro Bowl, baby.”
The comment blew up. However, both Nikki and DeJean seem to be cooling the rumors.
A couple of days later, Nikki told TMZ Sports that she is single, shutting down the idea that she is in a serious relationship with DeJean. She has admitted before that she and DeJean have hung out casually.

DeJean was also asked about the dating situation during his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. The 22-year-old kept his answer short, saying, “I don’t think I have a public relationship.” McAfee joked that they had their answer and moved on.
DeJean recently addressed it again on the Up & Adams show, saying, “She’s a good friend.” When asked about Bella’s comments from the RAW episode, the Eagles cornerback played coy and said, “She’s saying she got good taste? She could be talking about anybody.”
When the host pushed a bit further, DeJean praised Bella, saying, “She’s amazing…at what she does. She has been doing it for a long time.”

The rumors picked up last year when Nikki Bella posted videos from Lincoln Financial Field, including one where she appeared to be sitting in DeJean’s locker while wearing his Eagles jersey.
However, neither Bella nor DeJean has confirmed they are actually dating. For now, it seems like both of them are letting people speculate while keeping things private and, officially at least, single.
