AJ Styles recently opened up about the birth of her daughter, which came as a major surprise to he and his wife.
Speaking during the latest episode of Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast, Styles opened up about his family. McMahon asked about Styles’ daughter, Anney, and Styles called her “the sweetest surprise,” in a literal sense. Styles revealed that neither he nor his wife thought it was even possible that they could have a child.
“She was the sweetest surprise,” Styles said with a laugh. “My wife had an IUD (intrauterine device). It was meant to happen, we weren’t trying to make it happen. That just goes to show you, she’s not the one in a million, she’s the one in…billions of billions of billions. Because, you got to think, for us to be born in the first place, is crazy. And then she was able to find a way to get through an IUD.”
Styles married his wife, Wendy, in 2000. Together, they have four children, including three sons alongside Anney. Following Styles’ retirement, he and McMahon talked about his future, including now getting to spend more time with his family.
