Zelina Vega Debuts New Entrance on WWE SmackDown

The February 13, 2026, episode of Friday Night SmackDown brought quite a few new happenings from the American Airlines Center as the road to Elimination Chamber heated up. And one of them wasn’t just about the match results, it was about Zelina Vega and her brand-new entrance.

Vega competed in a Triple Threat match against Alexa Bliss and Women’s United States Champion Giulia. The winner could secure a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

The match was fast. Bliss started to build momentum late in the match, getting close near falls on both opponents.

As Vega and Giulia traded strikes in the ring, Bliss tried to take control and set up for Twisted Bliss. Giulia blocked it by getting her knees up. Vega then hit her Code Red on Giulia and went for the pin, but Bliss broke it up just in time.

Giulia fired back with a Northern Lights Bomb on Bliss, but Vega stopped that pin attempt too. Then Kiana James interfered and attacked Vega to help Giulia. Vega fought back, sending both Giulia and James to the outside, and went for a dive. However, it backfired as Bliss caught her and hit Sister Abigail DDT to win the match.

With the win, Bliss secured the third spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. Vega came up short, but fans online were still talking about her new entrance after the match ended.

Zelina Vega’s New Entrance Is More in Line With Aleister Black’s

Vega debuted a darker, more intense presentation, walking out to “Root of All Evil,” the theme linked to her husband, Aleister Black.

It was a big change from her previous high-energy and colorful themes like “The Visual,” “The Doll (La Muñeca),” and “VEGA.” Instead of bright colors and a techno theme, fans got dim lighting, heavy fog, and a slow, dramatic build that gave off a mysterious vibe.

The entrance felt very similar to Black’s signature style, his slow pace, and a more serious tone. It hinted that Vega might be evolving her character into something more intense.
