Paul Heyman narrates the details of the MyRISE storylines from WWE 2K26.
In 2K’s latest WWE 2K26 Ringside Report, Paul Heyman unveiled the details of the game’s MyRISE storylines. The mode puts the players at the center, where they can choose a men’s or women’s division storyline to take on the role of The Archetype, a superstar returning to WWE after a two-year absence.
However, the return doesn’t go as planned, as players suffer a crushing defeat against Paul Heyman’s protege, Bron Breakker, or Jordynne Grace.
MyRISE challenges players to make vital decisions and choose what kind of superstar they want to be. The storylines will test if they can fight their way to the top with honor or embrace the dark side to reclaim championship gold and turn on the WWE Universe.
“You think the comeback in MyRISE will be easy? Wrong answer,” Paul Heyman began. “After a two-year absence from the WWE, The Archetype makes their long-awaited comeback. But fate is cruel, and destiny is not without irony, because your comeback ends in disaster at the hands of one of my unstoppable champions, Bron Breakker or Jordynne Grace.
“The choice is in your hands. From there, the real comeback story begins. Do you fight your way to the top with hard work and integrity, or do you turn your back on the WWE Universe, embracing power and deception and shortcuts to reclaim your throne?
“In MyRISE, victory is not the end of your story. Because somehow you manage to defeat my client and capture their championship. Then you have a decision to make. A decision that may very well change the course of your career and WWE history. So how will you seize your moment and create your story?” Paul Heyman said.

The MyRISE mode will also take the players on a journey that features several pivotal WWE moments. It includes a return to the Performance Center, a potential NXT opportunity from Adam Pearce, and a WrestleMania showdown.
Players can also unlock several rewards, including indie-era CM Punk, “Burnt” Fiend, original MyRISE characters, and gear from previous WWE 2K titles.
WWE 2K26 has four editions available for pre-order now. The King of Kings Edition, Attitude Era Edition, and Monday Night War Edition will release worldwide on Friday, March 6, 2026. The Standard Edition will be released seven days later, on March 13.
