Mick Foley recently took to social media to lend his support to a police department in Maryland, and even joined in on the recruitment effort.
Foley, who is no stranger to posting about his political beliefs online, could recently be seen in a video alongside Maryland’s Prince George’s County Police Department. In a recent video on the Pringe George’s County Police Department’s Instagram channel, Foley can be seen speaking to George Nader, chief of police.
Nader asks if Foley would recommend anyone becoming a police officer, and whether or not he would recommend the Prince George’s County Police Department. Foley said he would.
“Oh, not only would I recommend someone become a police officer, but definitely (in) Prince George’s County,” Foley said (via WTOP). Speaking to WTOP, Nader said that there was no real plan for the video, and that he thanked Foley for helping out.
“It can be a great help, because we’re trying to tap every audience, everybody that has ever thought about becoming a police officer,” Nader said. “We want to reach out to that community and make sure that they know there’s a place for them here in Prince George’s County.”
