Overall, a fun contest. This one started a bit slow but picked up as the ring started to fill. The more established stars in the ring gave Rodriguez and James a lot, which made them both look amazing even in the loss. Rodriguez getting that double pin will be replayed for years. Ripley winning here was probably the best outcome, as Cargill vs. Ripley is the biggest match they can book coming out of this.

Grade: B
Save for a slight fumble during the finish when trying to set up the Black Widow, this match was a fun watch. Person issues make great feuds in pro wrestling. Lynch hates Lee and has done everything she can to embarrass her. After a 10-year singles match layoff, Lee looks quite good out there tonight. People forget that the majority of us loved Lee years ago for her in-ring work, not for all the crazy-girl shenanigans (though that did help). If Lee is going to continue at this level, in the ring, we NEED her on our TV screens more often than every six or so weeks.

Grade: B-
Evans survived this without injury! We up, people! Overall, this was a fun match that started off surprisingly slow. Rhodes wasn’t exactly trying to set any pace records when he was working with Evans in the beginning. Nevertheless, there was a lot of hard-hitting action through the rest of the match. Paul getting to tease running the table was a clear setup for SOMEONE to stop him from winning, so no matter how strong he looked, Paul had a snowball’s chance in hell of winning this thing. Orton going over was a shock. This writer isn’t against it by any means, but with everything happening with the Undisputed WWE Championship scene, we are most likely getting a multi-person match for the title at WrestleMania.
WWE Elimination Chamber Review:
Overall, everything clicked tonight, save for a few slips here and there. Danhasen made his debut to a huge pop, which ended as soon as the segment did, which is somehow being misconstrued as him getting booed (he did not. Watch the tape). Both Chamber matches were fun, with the women’s match coming out on top as the match of the night (hasn’t this been the trend the last few years? The Men need to step their game up). Seth Rollins made his grand return, which was expected. Anyone who thought the Masked Man was just going to be revealed as some guy and WWE would just move on hasn’t been paying attention.
When it comes to Rollins’ booking, they have been playing checkers, not chess. Whatever you expect, they are going to do the opposite, and it’s going to work. At this point, it’s best to accept that. McIntyre may have accomplished his mission of costing Rhodes the Chamber, but if history has taught us anything, the championship scene is way too muddy for the WrestleMania title match to be a one-on-one contest. This is going to be fun to watch come together. What did you all think of the show? Let us know in the comments!
