Charlotte Flair Reveals How Much Time She Has Left in WWE After Recent Injury

Charlotte Flair recently opened up about her wrestling future, reflecting on the physical and mental challenges she faced following a serious knee injury last year.

Speaking during an appearance on the Bloomberg Podcasts with Carol Massar and Norah Mulinda, the WWE star discussed the realities of longevity in professional wrestling.

Flair addressed the pressure that came with being sidelined and the uncertainty it created about her long-term future in the ring.

While injuries are part of the job, the experience forced the former champion to look beyond the ropes and consider what might come next in her career.

Charlotte Flair Reflects on Career Longevity After Major Injury

During the interview, Charlotte Flair acknowledged that women in sports often face questions about career longevity. However, she made it clear that she still sees plenty of time left in her WWE run.

“I still have many years left in my career,” Flair said while discussing the impact of her injury and the reflection that followed.

The injury in question was a torn ACL, which she suffered during a difficult period mentally and physically. Flair explained that the pressure surrounding her career — combined with approaching 40 — weighed heavily on her mindset at the time.

“I don’t think I was in the right state of mind,” she said while reflecting on the injury. “I feel like I was in a very negative space.”

Flair admitted she always viewed herself as the “iron woman” of WWE, someone who could power through nearly any obstacle. When the injury forced her out of action, it changed the way she looked at both her career and her identity.

“That’s all I viewed myself as — a professional wrestler,” she explained. “But that’s not all I am.”

Now 39 years old, Flair has also previously suggested she believes she is only halfway through her wrestling career. After missing significant time due to injury, she said her focus moving forward is making every appearance count.

In wrestling terms, Flair may have taken a tough bump — but she clearly isn’t planning her final bell just yet.
