The May 2026 lineup for WWE just got a little bigger.
As announced by WWE, the company will return to Fort Wayne, Indiana for Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23. The show will emanate from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, marking WWE’s first televised event in the area since 2014. Within the Saturday Night’s Main Event’s history, it will be the first one held in Indiana since 1992.
Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXI took WWE to Terre Haute, Indiana, in October 1992, with then-WWE Champion Bret Hart headlining in a successful title defense over Papa Shango. Elsewhere, Shawn Michaels retained the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a bout against The British Bulldog.
Public ticket sales for SNME on May 23 begin on Friday, March 20, at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster. Exclusive presale opportunities will also be available.
For fans in the United States, WWE SNME will air exclusively on Peacock. So far, no specific WWE Superstars have been confirmed for the show.
Two weeks before the next Saturday Night’s Main Event, WWE will host the Backlash premium live event from Tampa, Florida. On May 31, the Clash In Italy PLE will take WWE to Turin, Italy.
The latest SNME special took place on January 24, one week before the 2026 Royal Rumble. There, Sami Zayn cemented himself as the number one contender to the Undisputed WWE Championship match. Then-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley also successfully defended their titles against Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez.
