Tiffany Stratton sets the record straight about what really happened at WrestleMania 41.
Last year at WrestleMania, Tiffany Stratton successfully retained the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair, but it looked like she had her front tooth knocked out during the bout. The Schmo brought it up during a recent interview, but Stratton confirmed that none of her teeth were affected during the match.
“You had a tooth knocked out, The Schmo saw it, you recovered pretty well though.”
“I did not have a tooth knocked out,” Stratton clarified. “Everyone thinks that, but I did not have a tooth knocked out!”
So, what really happened?
“It was blood. It was just blood, there was no tooth knocked out,” she added, before showing off a tooth gem.
Tiffany Stratton has addressed her “chipped” tooth before
Stratton was quick to confirm that she wasn’t missing any teeth last year, but it’s something she’s had to address multiple times since WrestleMania 41.
During an episode of WWE Unreal, Stratton confirmed that she actually chipped one of her veneers, not her actual tooth. Either way, she did not have a tooth knocked out.
More recently, Stratton did an interview on SportsCenter, where she was shown a side-by-side photo comparing her chipped-tooth moment with hockey player Jack Hughes’ toothless smile during the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Hughes’ injury took place on February 22, 2026, during the Olympic gold medal hockey game. After taking a high stick from Sam Bennett of Team Canada, Hughes lost some of his front teeth. Stratton joked that while it was a terrible photo of her, she still looked more iconic.
“That is probably one of the worst pictures of me I’ve ever seen. Honestly, I have to say like I wore it best. I mean look at the blonde hair. I look like I just went through a fight which I did and I got to retain my WWE Women’s Championship with that look on. So I feel like mine was a little bit more iconic,” Stratton said.
