Linda McMahon’s Post About PlayStation Raises A Lot Of Questions

Is Linda McMahon having a Shawn Michaels moment on the internet?

The internet is buzzing after WWE co-founder Linda McMahon’s official X/Twitter account posted about the PlayStation Portable — without any context. The message reads more like an ad for Sony’s handheld console than a government official’s update.

“In 2005, everything changed! The ‘PlayStation Portable’ (PSP) was released and it did more than make gaming portable…it made entertainment personal, mobile, and always within reach. It was the beginning of life on the go,” the post read.

To make matters more confusing, the accompanying image doesn’t even feature a PSP — it shows the original PlayStation instead. Social media users were quick to point out that whoever runs the account clearly doesn’t know what a PSP looks like.

Twitter/X users questioned why the Secretary of Education would be tweeting about a gaming console. Some speculated it might have been an intern posting from the wrong account.

Some had fun with it: “Linda who was your Twisted Metal Head-On main?” one wrote.

Others were more blunt: “Why the f*ck is the Secretary of Education tweeting about the PSP?”

One user trolled McMahon’s current role, writing, “Secretary of Education everyone.”

This comment summed it up: “What the f*ck are you talking about, Linda?”
