WWE‘s Danhausen has applied for a new “cursed” trademark.
On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, WWE Superstar Danhausen filed an application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to trademark his catchphrase “You Are Cursed.”
The USPTO has accepted the application, which is yet to be assigned to an examining attorney. The examiner might as well give Danhausen what he wants. If not, they don’t need to watch WWE to know the consequences, as it would be right in front of their eyes in the application. They could face the same fate as iShowSpeed, who’s been having a rough time since getting cursed by the very nice, very evil star.
The description reads:
IC 025: Shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts; Hats; Bandanas; Socks.
IC 041: Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.
Danhausen is making strides in WWE
Danhausen already owns a trademark on his face paint. WWE also recently filed trademark applications for multiple Danhausen-related terms for entertainment and merchandise purposes.
Despite his debut at Elimination Chamber receiving mixed reactions, Danhausen has won over the fans in the following weeks. He also became a top merchandise seller for WWE. Recent reports also noted that the promotion is happy with his progress. He’s currently appearing on both RAW and SmackDown, as the company lists him as a free agent on its roster page.
