WWE’s Cody Rhodes Details Diet To Get In ‘Big Boy’ Shape Ahead of WrestleMania

Cody Rhodes opens up about his diet and workout regimen ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42.

During a recent interview with NYC-based street journalist Adam Glyn, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes detailed his diet and workout routine as he prepares for WrestleMania 42. He noted that he’s sticking to a cycle of two days of low-carb/high-fat and one day of higher-carb meals.

“Well, I think everyone who answers the question gives you a very exaggerated version of their diet. And then the others, us, like, peer-wise, look at that and think, ‘I wonder if he’s actually doing that,’ and then start to turn others up a little bit too,” Cody Rhodes began.

“Randy’s 280 pounds, and he looks 300 pounds. So we’ve got two days of what you would say is protein and fat. So you don’t have your carbs in it, but you’ve got your oils and your almonds and your healthy fats. And then you’ve got one day of carbs, and that’s with the protein, with the fat, and then you just keep the cycles. Two, one, two, one, you keep it going,” Cody Rhodes said.

Cody Rhodes says everyone takes fitness very seriously during WrestleMania season

Speaking further, Cody Rhodes credited Atlanta-based celebrity trainer Brad Kolowich for helping him get in his “big boy heavyweight wrestling shape.” He also noted that every WWE Superstar takes fitness very seriously during the road to WrestleMania.

“In addition to that, I got Brad Kolowich, who’s doing my workouts. He’s been doing them since I started getting big boy heavyweight wrestling shape. But it’s a good team. I think everyone around this part of the year just takes it very, very seriously. It’s almost boring. I feel like, as I’m telling you, it’s boring. You got the diet guy, you got the workout guy, you got all the different people there to help you be the best you can be. Because it’s WrestleMania,” Cody Rhodes said.
