The road to WrestleMania 42 just got even bigger, as WWE has confirmed a huge Fatal 4-Way match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. After weeks of drama, interference, and messy finishes, the four top teams will finally face off on the biggest stage.
This match was announced after a chaotic moment on the March 30, 2026, episode of WWE RAW. Jax and Legend were defending their titles against Bayley and Valkyria, and it looked like a normal match at first. But things got out of control when The Bella Twins and Flair & Bliss interfered at ringside.
That led to a big fight involving everyone. The chaos spilled into the ring, and the referee had no choice but to end the match with a disqualification. In the end, all three challenger teams stood tall in the ring after taking out the champions.
The Irresistible Forces to face Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, The Bella Twins, and Bayley, along with Lyra Valkyryia at WrestleMania 42
Because of all this, WWE made things official- a Fatal 4-Way match at WrestleMania 42. The current champions, Nia Jax and Lash Legend, aka The Irresistible Forces, will defend their titles against the team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, The Bella Twins, and the duo of Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss.
This also means no disqualifications, so there is nothing to stop the action this time. The champions will have to fight off three teams at once.
The Irresistible Forces have been quite dominant so far. Lash Legend has also stood out this year. But now, the odds are stacked against them.
Having said that, the Bella Twins and the duo of Flair and Bliss have their own rivalry. On the recent episode of SmackDown, both teams fought in a tag team match. However, an interference from Lash Legend had Flair and Bliss lose the match. Following that, Bayley and Valkyria also vented out their anger on the champions. Later, Charlotte Flair shoved Nikki Bella out of frustration.
Before that, The Bella Twins cost Flair and Bliss their title opportunity against The Irresistible Forces.
So, all the teams have some sort of animosity among themselves as well.
