Grade: B-

This match was way better than this writer expected it to be. This didn’t feel like a normal SmackDown six-woman tag. This felt like a PLE match. Everyone had their working boots on, and most of this clicked. With Cargill pinning Ripley, it’s hard to give her a fair shot at Clash. Also, Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin all get an A+ for their Michael Jackson-inspired gear.

Winner- Sol Ruca

After the match, the crowd chants, “Becky sucks!” While Ruca checks on the referee, Lynch runs back to the ring and hits three Manhandle Slams on Ruca.

Grade: B

This was a great showing for Ruca, and with this finish, we know why it wasn’t a title match. Ruca is taking this title from Lynch, and it’s probably going to be at SummerSlam.

Penta obliterates Page with a springboard Mexican Destroyer for the win!

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion, Ethan Page!

Grade: B+

This match was phenomenal. Penta and Page are two of the best signings by WWE in the last five years. This was also one of the best IC title matches in the last five years. Everything was tight, the near falls were insane, and Page, unlike most supposed heels, actually acts like one. These two may be wrestling soulmates.

Brie dropkicks Legend into the pin to break it up. Paige rolls up Jax, while Brie gives Paige an assist with a foot on the back behind the referee’s back.

Winners and STILL Women’s Tag Team Champions, Brie Bella and Paige!

Grade: C+

Compared to the earlier matches, this one was tough to find its footing. This match was just fine, but it had the heat of a SmackDown main event, which normally wouldn’t be a terrible thing. Something about this one was several steps slower than everything else we have seen tonight. Also, someone check on Jim Cornette. He is going to have a heart attack if he sees Jax and Legend doing the Midnight Express’ finish. Don’t tell him it looks way more impressive with these two doing it, either.

WWE World Tag Team Championship Match | The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) (c) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford)

Dawkins takes out Paul with a dive. Theory pins a knocked-out Ford.

Winners and STILL World Tag Team Champions, The Vision!

After the match, Breakker runs back to the ring and Spears Dawkins and Ford.

Grade: B

What a hot tag title match. Ford and Dawkins were on FIRE tonight. Paul and Theory played their roll well, but the story here was how great the Profits looked. The finish of this was amazing. Breakker not being able to get off his usual BS and getting sent into the shadow realm via Dawkins pounce was worth the price of admission. This writer was on the edge of his seat as they built this one. Also, Heyman actually got involved. That’s how you know this one was a big match. Totally worth the main event spot on this show.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Review:

What a night. The card for this one didn’t have any immediate standouts; we were all trying to figure out which match would actually main event the show. Much like seemingly light NXT Takeover shows, this SNME over-delivered. The in-ring action for this one was all around tight, with each match building to exciting finishes. The match of the night was Penta vs. Ethan Page, but the main event tag title match is a close second. This show felt like an A-tier PLE. We need more shows like this.
