IYO SKY took a scary fall on WWE Raw this week.
WWE fans held their breath on Monday night as a suicide dive onto Asuka resulted in a rough landing for IYO SKY on WWE Raw. A new angle (courtesy of Allenownz) of the move reveals that SKY fell directly onto the floor, landing on her head and neck.
Fortunately, SKY rose back to her feet with seemingly no problems.
After a brief gesture of encouragement to Kairi Sane, SKY reentered the ring to finish the match. Her opponent, Raquel Rodriguez, seized the moment to then plant “The Genius of the Sky” with a Tejana Bomb for the win.
Following her scary bump on Raw, SKY took to her Instagram Stories to clarify her condition.
“One hour sleep and have a flight. I am just tired, my body is good!” she wrote. SKY also assured fans that she plans to keep fighting, no matter what wrestling throws at her.
“Thanks for all Your cheers last night at RAW in Madison Square Garden? My road to WrestleMania has NEVER been easy, but…this year is even TOUGHER. But I won’t give up!!” she wrote on X. “I will continue to give it my all, no matter what!!! Road to #WrestleMania.”
As of this writing, SKY’s next moves are unconfirmed, though reports indicate that she is headed toward a singles match against Asuka at WWE WrestleMania 42. The idea of adding Kairi Sane to elevate the bout to a triple threat has also reportedly been discussed.
