It looks like IYO SKY is going to revisit a past feud at WrestleMania 42.
SKY and Rhea Ripley recently lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Nia Jax and Lash Legend, collectively known as the Irresistible Forces.
Rhea Ripley went on to earn a shot at Jade Cargill and the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42. She earned the title shot by winning this year’s Elimination Chamber match. Because of Ripley’s Chamber win (and RHIYO quietly disbanding), IYO was left without plans leading into Mania.
According to a new report, however, IYO SKY will have a match at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Bodyslam (via Bodyslam+) is reporting that IYO will resume her feud with the Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane. It was specifically noted that WWE has “intentionally avoided long periods of in-ring action between Asuka and IYO” because they are scheduled to have a singles match at WrestleMania.
The report noted that WWE has also discussed making it a triple threat by adding Kairi Sane to the match. Sane has been berated by her partner in recent weeks, which opens the door for breaking up the Kabuki Warriors. Sane splitting away from Asuka could push that idea forward, which has been met with support in the company.
WWE is reportedly planning a record number of women’s matches for WrestleMania 42. Bodyslam also recently reported that current plans have Tiffany Stratton competing for a top title at the event.
