Finn Bálor recently opened up about his WWE career, and his comments surprised many fans. He has achieved a lot already. But he still feels like there is more to do.
Bálor has built an impressive career in WWE over the years. He became the first-ever Universal Champion in the company. He also won multiple tag team titles during his run. He also held the NXT Championship two times before moving up.
His “Demon” persona made him stand out in a big way. Since debuting in 2014, he has changed his character many times. He went from a top babyface in NXT to a key heel in The Judgment Day. Even after all that success, Bálor still feels unsatisfied with his career. He believes he has more to achieve more in WWE.
Finn Bálor says he still feels like he hasn’t ‘accomplished anything’ in WWE
While speaking on the Talk’N Shop podcast with Karl Anderson, Bálor shared his honest thoughts. He spoke about his mindset and his goals. He said “What’s so weird is that I still feel like that kid that has all these dreams that I want to accomplish.”
“I don’t feel like I’ve accomplished anything, I still feel like I have that hunger and that drive to keep going, to keep chasing it. Maybe some day I’ll sit back and look backwards and maybe kinda digest what I’ve done then. But until then, I just wanna keep moving forward.” [H/T: Wrestletalk]
Even now, Bálor feels like he has more to prove in WWE. And a big moment is coming soon for him. He is set to face Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 42. The match comes from a personal rivalry between the two as it follows Bálor’s split from The Judgment Day faction.
