WWE Talks With Rapper Could Lead To WrestleMania 42 Appearance — Report

WWE is in talks with a popular rapper for a potential WrestleMania 42 appearance.

WWE is reportedly in negotiations with rapper Lil Yachty for a potential appearance at its biggest premium live event of the year, according to WrestleVotes Radio via Fightful Select.

“WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has learned that Yachty has been in negotiations with WWE for quite some time,” the report noted.

“They’re also told there is a possibility this leads to a WrestleMania appearance, and extending the relationship beyond that.”

Trick Williams recently extended an invitation to the rapper for a potential appearance on SmackDown, giving Lil Yachty a shoutout last week.

Williams is also set for a major match at WrestleMania 42, where he will challenge Sami Zayn for the United States Championship. Zayn captured the title last week from Carmelo Hayes following a run-in involving Williams.

Following the match, some fans criticized the decision, suggesting Hayes was denied a WrestleMania opportunity. Williams later addressed the reaction and teased a possible appearance from his former tag team partner during the show.

WWE RAW Star wants to work with Lil Yachty

During a recent interview with Bootleg Kev, Je’Von Evans commented on the possibility of teaming up with a celebrity.

The Young OG was quick to name-drop Lil Yachty, saying, “In the ring, I’m gonna have to go with my boy Lil Yachty.”

“Yachty is chill, but he’s a crashout. Yachty is crazy, and he can throw hands for real. Once it has to be done and you take it to that level, he’ll take it to the level with you. Me and Yachty would go crazy,” Evans said.

“He loves the high-flying stuff, too. Yachty is my dawg, that’s my brother. I feel like if we could get something that works, maybe we could make that happen pretty soon.” [H/T ClutchPoints]

Lil Yachty previously praised Je’Von Evans for his moveset in WWE. Fans can check out his full comments here.
