WATCH: Trick Williams Knocks Fan’s Phone Away During WWE SmackDown Entrance

WWE United States Champion Trick Williams was involved in an unexpected moment on the June 5 episode of SmackDown. He accidentally knocked a fan’s phone out of their hand during his entrance.

Later in the night, Williams competed in one of SmackDown’s biggest matches. He took part in a Fatal 4-Way King of the Ring Tournament match against Bron Breakker, Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest.

Fan’s phone goes flying as Trick Williams interacts with WWE crowd

Williams was making his usual entrance, walking way down the ramp wearing a white fur coat and carrying the United States Championship around his waist. As he interacted with fans by giving high-fives to the beat of his “Whoop that Trick” chants, his hand appeared to hit a fan’s phone, sending it flying.

Fans were reaching over the barricade, recording videos, and trying to get close to Williams as he walked through the arena. With so many people holding up their phones, accidental contact like this can sometimes happen at live events. It also serves as a reminder for fans to hold onto their stuff carefully whenever wrestlers come close to the crowd.

Now, before the King of the Ring Tournament match, Williams and Breakker had an intense backstage stare-down. The action started immediately when Breakker attacked Williams during his entrance with a German suplex. Breakker dominated the early part of the match.

Throughout the match, temporary team-ups formed and broke apart. As the match neared the finish, members of The Judgment Day got involved.

After Priest hit Mysterio with a Razor’s Edge, Liv Morgan distracted the referee to stop a possible pinfall. Breakker then took control again, planting Williams with a spinning side slam.

During the final minutes, Williams looked close to winning after hitting a Trick Shot on Breakker. However, Mysterio pulled the referee away before the count could be completed. Moments later, Williams knocked Mysterio off the apron before Breakker sent both men crashing into the announce table area with a huge lariat.

Later, JD McDonagh distracted Priest. Although Priest fought back, Morgan helped Mysterio by hitting Priest with a low blow. That opening allowed Mysterio to connect with a 619 and a Frog Splash to pick up the win.
