WWE Raw Results:

Oba Femi, CM Punk, and more are shown arriving at the arena. Punk walks straight from the back onto the stage.

The Cult of Personality

CM Punk powerwalks to the ring and tosses the championship into the ring. Punk sits in the middle of the ring. As the crowd chants his name, Punk takes it all in. The chants turn into “OTC” chants. Punk notes that Houston is a wrestling town. He can’t help but think about what someone like Harley Race would do. Two weeks ago, with help from his cousins, Reigns put Punk through a table. Punk couldn’t wait to get his hands on Reigns. Last week, he put Reigns through the commentary desk. Reigns says he hates Punk. Good. If Reigns hates him, Punk is doing something right. Punk lays the championship on the commentary desk. Another OTC chants breaks out.

Punk says maybe if they chant loud enough, Reigns will bother to show up. Punk dumps on Reigns for being manufactured. Why is it Punk can film half a dozen movies and never miss a day, but these people boo him because he says Reigns isn’t here? When Reigns does manage to show up, he puffs his chest out like he’s the Rock. Well, the Rock is a Hollywood superstar… Oh, Punk is sorry, WAS a Hollywood star. Punk’s calls Reigns a bucktoothed nepobaby who ate dog food for a weird old man. That weird old man treated Punk like crap. But Punk had FU money, so he took his ball and went home. That’s the real reason Reigns hates Punk.

The Finish

Punk can stand on the bridge and blow it up, because b*tch, he knows how to swim. You think Punk is done? Nah, everyone can get it tonight. PAT MACAFEE… Punk says McAFee is a hillbilly. If McAfee thinks he can come into Punk’s business and dump on it? If you want to talk about ticket prices, tell that Agent of yours to lower the damn ticket prices. Someone who used to kick a football for a living can’t tell Punk about his business and how to sell tickets. Punk wants all these families to come and watch him stand on Reigns’ neck at WrestleMania. He’s CM Punk, and he approves this message.

Grade: B

This started off rough, but Punk knocked it out of the park in the end. Wonder if someone is getting a call about all that ticket price talk. Punk is messy as hell. How can you not appreciate it?

Austin Theory w/Logan Paul and ISHOWSPEED vs. LA Knight

Knight lands a flurry. Theory takes over heading into the break. After the break, Knight tries to fire up, but Theory nails him with a discus elbow strike. Rolling Blockbuster by Theory. Knight kicks out. Knight manages to clothesline Theory over the top. Outside the ring, Knight gets into it with Paul at ringside. Knight yells at SPEED.

SPEED puts his hands up as if to say his name is Bennett and he ain’t in it. Knight turns around. Paul pushes SPEED into Knight. Knight chases SPEED. The Usos walk out on the ramp. SPEED leaps over Knight and slides into the ring. In the confusion, Paul decks Knight. Theory rolls up Knight for the win!

Winner- Austin Theory

After the match, the Usos set SPEED up for a 1D. Paul and Theory pull SPEED out of the ring. Knight grabs a mic and challenges The Vision and SPEED to a six-man tag match. Adam Pearce makes the match official.

Grade: B

This was actually quite fun. They are building to SPEED eating a 1D. Hopefully, it will be off the top rope at WrestleMania. This writer will spend good money to see that.

JD McDonagh vs. Finn Bálor

While Bálor is making his entrance, Dominik Mysterio attacks him from behind. Bálor fires back and sends McDonagh flying over the top. Dominik gets the drop on Bálor. McDonagh and Dominik beat down Bálor with a chair.

No Contest

Grade: C

Totally understand why this went down like this… but can’t help but be dissapointed we didn’t get to see this match.

Lash Legend w/Nia Jax vs. Bayley w/Lyria Valkyria

Bayley is in control early. Bayley dives off the top into a right hand from Legend. Legend sends Bayley over the top with a big boot. After the break, Legend folds Bayley up with a lariat. Bayley kicks out. Bayley starts to fire up, but Jax trips Bayley. Valkyria dives off the steps, only to get caught by Jax. Jax drives Valkyria into the apron.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss appear and attack Jax. Bayley dives off the top onto everyone. Legend sets up a superplex. Valkyria hooks Legend’s leg, causing her to fall off the top. Bayley lands on Legend. Valkyria holds Legends leg so she can’t kick out. Bayley gets the three count.

Winner- Bayley

Grade: C+

Despite the fact that they are heading into a multi-team match, these four teams do not need to brawl every week. There are more interesting ways to have them all interact than simply repeating the same thing.

Burn it Down

Seth Rollins is happy to be back and has been waiting to hear the WWE Universe sing his song. The crowd serenades Rollins as we walk around the ring, hyping them up. Rollins is back. At WrestleMania, Rollins is facing Gunther. They don’t have history. Rollins has been thinking about it all week; Gunther must have entered into some sort of relationship with Paul Heyman. Rollins has two goals: getting back the title he never lost, and ending the Vision. Heyman has no one left.

To completely clear the decks, Rollins put Brock Lesnar on a silver platter for Oba Femi. If Gunther’s intent is to be a shield for Paul Heyman, it may be business for Gunther, but Gunther has made it personal for Rollins. Gunther tries a sneak attack, but Rollins counters Gunther’s Sleeper. Gunther escapes and avoids a stomp. Rollins and Gunther brawl. Raw GM Pearce and officials rush to the ringside. Gunther boots Rollins in the face while Rollins is being held back.

Grade: B

And just like that, this entire thing makes sense. It also opens the door for Lesnar and Gunther to eventually come to blows.

Je’van Evans, Penta, and Dragon Lee vs. Los Americanos

Evans lands a stunner and a bouncy rana. Kofi Kingston is watching the match from the back. After a distraction, The Americanos take over. Evans lands a Superman dive. Penta and Lee follow with dives of their own.

Evans lands a stunner and a bouncy rana. Kofi Kingston is watching the match from the back. After a distraction, The Americanos take over. Evans lands a Superman dive. Penta and Lee follow with dives of their own. After the break, Lee lands a diving rana off the apron. Penta hits a slingshot Mexican Destroyer on the apron. Evans gets the pin after the OG Cutter.

Winners- Je’van Evans, Penta, and Dragon Lee

After the match, Rey Mysterio walked to the ring and said he spoke to Adam Pearce, and they agreed. The WrestleMania IC Championship ladder match needs one more person. Mysterio has been added to the ladder match. For reasons this writer can’t understand, everyone in the ring celebrates.

Grade: B

Fun match. Evans scares the heck out of this writer every time he does that Superman dive. The fact that all of the people in the ring are in the ladder match, and they think adding a Hall of Famer to it is a good thing, is asinine.

IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley vs. Michin and B-Fab

SKY and Ripley dominate early. After the break, WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill attacks Ripley behind the referee’s back. In the ring, SKY fires up. Cargill attacks SKY, causing a disqualification.

Winners- IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley

Ripley tries to make the save. B-Fab and Michin hold Ripley back while Cargill beats SKY with a kendo stick. Cargill drops SKY with Jaded.

Grade: C+

Yet another overdone angle. Is the creative team for this show stuck in a time loop?

Backstage, Liv Morgan tries to speak to Roxanne Perez about her friendship with Bálor. Before Perez can speak. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer teleports backstage and pushes Morgan into Perez. Vaquer launches Morgan, headfirst, into a flat screen TV.

Contract Signing

Raw GM Adam Pearce and Triple H are going to oversee the proceedings. Paul Heyman interrupts and introduces the Conqueror of the Ruler, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar bounces out on the stage, and they make their way to the ring. The crowd chants “Oba” at Lesnar. Oba Femi is out next.

Femi struts to the ring with the crowd firmly behind him. Lesnar and Femi stare each other down while Femi is on the apron. Lesnar charges at Femi, sending him off the apron. Femi lifts Lesnar and drives him into the ring post. The fight spills into the ring. Lesnar and Femi crash through the table in the ring. Chaos ensues.

Grade: A

Yet another amazing segment between these two. This should be the main event on one of the nights of WrestleMania. At this point, the Rhodes/Orton match can open for all this writer cares.
