It sounds like Shotzi is channeling Ready Or Not‘s Grace Le Domas for a potential WrestleMania weekend look.
Shotzi Blackheart spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about her signing with MLW. During the conversation, Shotzi mentioned some of her upcoming appearances in Las Vegas during WrestleMania weekend. This will be the first time Shotzi has wrestled in Las Vegas since she was with WWE, where she competed while wearing her wedding dress at a live event in December 2023.
Blackheart and her boyfriend, Jesus Alfaro, got married in Las Vegas ahead of a WWE live event in town. Shotzi arrived at the event in her wedding dress and teamed with Bianca Belair to defeat Damage CTRL’s Bayley and IYO SKY.
Shotzi previously said that she’s still surprised WWE let it happen in the first place. Now, she says she has considered wearing it to compete in a deathmatch this weekend.
“I thought about bringing that wedding dress too, because I thought it would be really cool if I wore that wedding dress for a death match and it got all bloody. The white wedding dress would look really tough,” Shotzi said. “So maybe I’ll bust out the wedding dress again.”
Shotzi previews how busy she will be in Las Vegas
Shotzi has a lot planned during WrestleMania week, including seven matches and other appearances.
“I’m hosting a karaoke night and doing a lot of fun things with fans, plus WrestleCon all four days. Some of those WrestleCon days though, you’ll have to watch my schedule. Because I’ll literally be there for maybe like an hour and then I have to go to the next appearance or match.
“So yeah, I’ll be wrestling probably until like 3:00 in the morning for some matches and then waking up to wrestle at 11:00 a.m. the next day. It’s going to be a wild week of no sleep.”
