IShowSpeed Makes Honest Admission Ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42 Match

WWE has been incorporating celebrity crossover matches at WrestleMania for some time now. This time, IShowSpeed will be seen at WrestleMania 42 after the announcement on this week’s edition of WWE RAW. The internet sensation has finally spoken about his upcoming match.

Speed will team up with The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) in a six-man tag team match. On the other side will be The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) along with LA Knight.

Danhausen “cursed” Speed a few weeks ago, and since then, he has faced several issues in WWE and during his streaming endeavors. He mistakenly hit LA Knight during the tag team match between The Usos and The Vision, which somehow cost The Usos their title. Later, Knight invaded Speed’s home during a livestream and got his payback.

This week on RAW, Speed again unwillingly got involved in Knight’s match against Theory. This involvement helped The Vision member to win. After that, the Usos and Knight surrounded the YouTuber, who wanted to exact payback. Later, Adam Pearce made the six-man tag team match official.

During a recent livestream, Speed was very honest about how he is feeling. “I can’t even get the words out of my mouth because I’m so excited… I’m going to be wrestling at WrestleMania. I’m not gonna lie to ya’ll chat…am I scared? Yeah, bro,” he said.

Even though he is nervous, Speed confessed how much this means to him. “I would have never thought that I was going to be wrestling at WrestleMania like this. I’m gonna be honest, bro, from a genuine… like, as our boys know, I’ve been watching wrestling since I was like maybe what…six or seven,” Speed said.

“I think that was the first sport I actually got introduced to bro..is WWE. I think WWE was like the first thing I’ve like got into. I was like four… So like, this is crazy,” Speed added.

IShowSpeed made his in-ring debut in the 2025 Royal Rumble, where Bron Breakker brutally speared and eliminated him.

Last year, he also underwent a short training camp at the WWE Performance Center, where Randy Orton, Sheamus, Fit Finlay and Matt Bloom aided his training. He eventually fought NXT’s Anthony Luke, where he lost.
