After confirming his return earlier, EC3 — or Ethan Carter III — is officially back in the world of TNA Wrestling.
During Saturday’s TNA Rebellion, EC3 made his long-awaited return. The company had already confirmed he would be back, but the ovation the legend got was big nonetheless. Carter came out after Eric Young came down to the ring and called him out, mocking him in the process by calling him a “nepobaby.” EC3 came out, and the two brawled immediately.
EC3 hit Young with a big slam, then grabbed the mic and confirmed his return. He said his next plan of business was to take on Young in a match on TNA iMPACT this week, and shouted out his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, before leaving.
The return of EC3 to TNA is a big one. The star last wrestled for the company in 2020, at TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view. He then left the company to pursue other opportunities, and competed at NWA for a few years before his return. During his time at TNA, the star is a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and Impact Grand Champion.
